My Little Boys

I just love my boys! They are SO sweet and just melt my heart- most of time!!!

Getting Ready for Chirstmas

This year Cooper is all about Christmas. Every song he asks if it is about Jesus' Birthday and every decoration or Santa he sees he points it out to me and yells, "Mom look it's Christmas". I love it! He is so excited and so are we!

We had a great time picking out our tree. Each time we stopped to look at one Coop would comment on how great it was and that Daddy should cut it down. He got so frustrated at our lack of cutting he started crying. We ended up with a beautiful tree and we had such a great time decorating it.

Trick or Treat

Well we do things a little differently here in PA, we had trick or treat Thursday night. Weird, huh? Cooper got to wear his costume to school for a parade. At 8am he asked if I could put him in the car- a little excited I'd say! After getting on the costume he ran outside for some pics which lasted only a brief second- after all he is a football player - a running back (at least yesterday). He thought he was pretty cool with a helment and shoulder pads. He ran and ran all over the yard. Needless to say he LOVED his costume!

Pumpkin Hayride

We had so much fun with our friends on a pumpkin hayride. They got to learn about different pumpkins and then pick their own. They had a blast!

On the Farm

We had such a wonderful time with our friends on his family's 200 year old farm!!! Cooper got to ride behind a tractor, take eggs out of the hen nests, and feed the goats. He's a real country boy now! Wish everyone could enjoy the beautiful fall days in PA with apple orchards, changing leaves and crisp air- please come visit anytime!

A little Amish man built these special little "cars" out of barrels so the kids could ride in them. Cooper is still talking about it!

At one point Cooper tried to crack the eggs, banging them on the side of the feeder like it was a bowl. I don't think that the hens would have appreciated his cooking.

1st Day of School

Cooper had his first day of school last week. It is only one day a week for 2 hours. He was so excited. He got his backpack ready and was eager to get in his car seat (amazing). He walked right in and began to play. He is the only boy in his class with 5 girls - not bad odds. When I picked him up he asked if he could go to school again - I think he had a good day!

Sweet Baby Cole

I love my boys and am so blessed that both have been such wonderful babies. Cole is so happy and will give the biggest smile if you just look at him! We are loving our days of contentedness and immobility.

Cousins

We had such a wonderful time with our cousins in Houston. They were so kind to drive to see us in their "monster truck". Elizabeth loved Baby Cole and will be the sweetest big sister! We could have done without Hurricane Ike but hey we got to stay longer with MiMi and PaPa. Cooper of course couldn't understand why he couldn't have pancakes every morning or watch a show. It was pretty sad when our last day there he was pretending that the lights turned on and the television worked!
My dad was so sweet to take the boys fishing. They definitely didn't last long and all we caught was a "bag fish" but he had fun trying!
Luke and Elizabeth love the water! Luke is a great swimmer.
Cooper was just happy the water was warm!

Cooper and PaPA

What pretty girls! I love them both!
